The Christmas Carol from Charles Dickens

Dear students:

I would like you to watch this classic and very well kown Christmas tale from Charles Dickens.
The tale is only fifteen minutes long, so try to enjoy it!!  I hope you like it!!

Finally here it is a proposal for you:

If you don't know what to say, I can give you some ideas and questions to think about it, for example: Who is your favourite character?  Why do you like him/her?  What do you like more, the tale of fifteen minutes or the Disney trailer? Would you like to watch that Disney movie? What other tales/readings/stories would you like to read at the classroom?

YES, WE READ!!

"Estimados papás y mamás:

Hoy hemos ido a la biblioteca; salir del aula nos encanta porque siempre es por alguna actividad emocionante que nos ilusiona. ¿Qué vamos a hacer?_¿No dijo la teacher que un día o dos nos íbamos a ir a la biblioteca?_Oye, ¿tú te acuerdas donde está la biblioteca?_¡Arriba del todo!_¿Arribaaa???! ¡Qué bien!_¡Pero anda recto que me pisas!

¡Qué bien! Aquí se viene a leer... pero podemos disfrutar de la lectura porque lo hacemos tumbados o sentados y además elegimos con quien compartimos el libro, eso nos gusta!

Estábamos deseando que nos dejarán coger nuestros libros; hemos empezado a leer "Pirate Patch and the heroic rescue.

TRABAJAMOS LAS PARTES DEL CUERPO DE FORMA CREATIVA

Nuestros alumnos de 5º curso de Primaria han trabajado en ARTS las partes del cuerpo humano de una forma muy divertida, creando la figura del cuerpo humano con pasta.

Estimadas familias:

Hemos empezado a leer juntos un libro en inglés, se llama Who's the classiest cat?

Los alumnos adoran salir del aula e ir a nuestra biblioteca. Pueden tumbarse en la alfombra, quedarse sentados en parejas..., y así les acercamos al inglés de forma real, con un libro para compartir y leer juntos.

Es divertido, les encanta escuchar el audio y sobre todo; preguntarles ¿cómo saben cuándo hay que pasar de página?
